  1. Pretty excited about this course. One question though, for someone looking to land a position using Cisco DC products but no on-the-job experience with it. After completing CCNA DC, would you suggest picking one of the technologies and putting a lot of focus on that. If so, what would you select to learn first, UCS or NX-OS

    1. Hi Mike!

Cisco did a great job of structuring the CCNP Data Center. You can complete the CCNA Data Center and then decide UCS or NX-OS – it does not matter which you pick. Use whatever interests you more. Then you focus, focus, focus on that. If you choose to start with UCS – you do DCUCI and DCUCT. If you choose NX-OS – you do DCUFI and DCUFT. We have had such an incredible demand at CBT Nuggets – we might even be adding the design courses.

  2. Hi Anthony,
I see your DCUFI course is in progress, when do you plan to complete it and how many videos will you have?

Also, I consider routing to be my weakest area, do I really need to sit through the CCNP R&S in order to go after CCIE DC? I already do a fair bit of UCS and MDS in my job as I have a strong storage background.
The Nexus is really my missing piece. Any advice appreciated.

    1. I think I can have the DCUFI done in 3 to 4 weeks no problem. It is going to be big – I anticipate about 40 videos!

For CCIE DC being so incredibly specialized – I think that it could be done without the CCNP R&S especially if you have knowledge in that area already.

  3. Just checking in again…seems you’ve updated to 55 videos.
So I guess it will be more than 3-4 weeks for completion!..

  4. Looks like it will be this week. Still some videos that need to be reviewed before they are published.

  5. Chris, ha ha…you can’t rush the technology…
To keep it consistent when will you serve up DCUFT 🙂

    1. DCUFT will not start right away – there are some quick courses I need to crank out first – then I will complete the CCNP Data Center. Also, DCUFT is a MUCH smaller course than DCUFI, so it will go much quicker.

  6. Anthony, wonderful job of cranking up those videos. it just adds to the pool of knowledge & massive respect to you man!!

    1. Hi Basel!

Thank you so much for visiting and commenting.

Later today I will be posting a completion date for you on DCUFT so you can better plan your studies.

Congrats on all of your excellent work so far!
