  1. Hello Anthony,
I would like to ask you what do you recommend me for my CCIE R&S practice preparation, should i try to use cisco VIRL? Should i buy an academic version or a personal edition of the VIRL? Should i try to practice in rack rentals? What do you recommend me Anthony?

    Best regards

    1. I think VIRL is the way to go – but you need to be aware of the machine to run it. It needs to be fast and powerful. Just how fast and powerful – I will get clarification for you and post this week. You want the Academic Edition.

  2. Dear Anthony

First of all thanks for your great posts.
According to such technologies, can I ask your opinion about SDN and Openflow which some people think it change the networking world in term of CCIE value?
Actually I hear things around which scare me to follow networking certifications such as CCIE.

    1. I am giving a presentation on this very subject today. See my blog post for today for information – if you cannot attend the presentation live – be sure to watch the recording later.
