Introducing the New Nugget Hero!

We asked you to nominated someone who has inspired you, and who could benefit from our training. We’re proud to introduce your new Nugget Hero, Rob Haas!

Rob was nominated by his wife, who wrote that her husband has continued to pursue a bachelor’s degree in security, despite holding a full-time job and enduring several personal tragedies, as well as his wife’s health issues. He’s also dedicated to giving back by volunteering in his community.

Rob was selected by a jury pool consisting of CBT Nuggets trainers, staff, and our previous Nugget Hero.

He won a Kindle Fire HD and one-year subscription to CBT Nuggets. We’ll check in with Rob throughout next year to see how his training is going.

Thank you to everyone who nominated a Nugget Hero. It’s inspiring to read about so many people overcoming their adversity to make a difference in other peoples’ lives.

Webinar Recordings

In December, we held two webinars. If you weren’t able to attend, check out the recordings by clicking the links below:

CCNA Sweepstakes Winners

We teamed up with Sybex on the new edition of the “CCNA Routing & Switching Study Guide.” The book was written by Todd Lammle and features MicroNuggets created by Jeremy Cioara exclusively to reinforce the lessons in the study guide.

We held a CCNA sweepstakes that offered participants chance to win a Kindle Fire HD with e-book copy of the signed study guide, or a printed edition of the study guide signed by Jeremy and Todd!

The winners have been selected and notified. Keep your eyes open for future CBT Nuggets contests for your chance to win cool prizes.

NuggetLOVE Update

Our November charity was South Willamette Valley Honor Flight. The nonprofit takes veterans to Washington D.C., free of charge, to see the monuments built to honor their service.

CBT Nuggets is donating $25,000 to sponsor a trip for 25 veterans this spring. We also will be sending a team member to film a documentary about this wonderful organization. Thanks for your support — it enables us to give back in a big way!
