The much anticipated Professional edition of EVE-NG has arrived. The price of this product is $121.53 per year.

The following is the information about the product from the staff at EVE-NG:

  1. Hi Anthony,

    Enjoy your videos on CBTnuggets.

How does EVE-NG compare to GNS3 and VIRL?

    Appreciate your opinion

    1. I was surprised to see how awesome it is. In fact – I no longer use GNS3. It is EVE-NG and VIRL for me now.

      1. Hello Anthony I’ve been following your videos for quite sometime now especially the CBT Nuggets. By the way I’m from the Philippines. I have a question though regarding this EVE-NG, does it come with the different IOS for Cisco. If not where can I find those IOS? Thanks a lot Anthony, cheers!

      2. Thank you Anthony,

I was spending too much time setting up simulations. I went to EBay and bought a 2801 Cisco Router with CME and IPS with latest IOS ($ 88 USD with tax and shipping). I have been playing with it since it arrived. That is the reason for my delay in responding 🙂

  2. Wow! Really? Is EVE-NG really that much better than GNS3? One of my co-workers is a dual CCIE (Data Center and Security), he used EVE-NG to study for his CCIE certifications. I am currently using GNS3, should I switch? Mr. Sequeira, are you going to create a CBT Nugget series for EVE-NG?

    1. I like it better – but keep in mind – it is a very personal thing! When in doubt – always what works best for you in practice. Best often means the most efficient! For example, if you are up and running with GNS3 for everything you need…why even consider changing!

  3. Mr. Sequeira,

This question is not Eve-NG related, is career related. Do you know where I can get career coaching? I’ve been working as a network technician/engineer for a while now (I am now a jack of all trades for my new employer); however, I can’t seem to make a leap in pay. Most job interviews are offering the same or less pay than what I am earning now. I work hard and I am good (networking wise) at what I do, I separate my self from the crowd. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

  4. Hi Anthony, I will really appreciate. Pls what does it take. I have gotten the app running with ASAv and IOL for router, but I have issues with Loading switches and Virtual PC configuration.

What does it take have this guide ?
